Toshiba Satellite L450D BIOS Password Removal
If you need to have your Toshiba Satellite L450D BIOS password removed then look no further. One of our site visitors (Thanks ShamblerDK!) was kind enough to send us in a step by step procedure to get the job done.
- Remove the harddrive plastic cover, as there are 4 screwholes underneath, and remove the harddrive as well. - Disassemble the laptop itself by removing all screws labeled "F10" and the 3 screws below the battery.
- Remove the plastic bar just above the keyboard by inserting a screwdriver below it in the middle and pushing it up.
- Remove the 2 screws holding the keyboard in place and remove the keyboard by disconnecting it's cable from the motherboard.
- Remove all screws labeled "F10" from under where the keyboard was as well.
- Remove the 3 connectors connecting the motherboard to the top cover.
- Lift the entire top cover gently, removing it from the laptop.
- Remove the CMOS battery from the lower left part of the motherboard using a soldering iron.
- Touch the two battery soldering points together with a small screwdriver or other conductive material.
- Keep the battery out for about a minute.
- Solder the battery back in and assemble the laptop.
- Profit!
So if you have a Toshiba Satellite L450D BIOS password removal should be as easy as following the steps above. Thanks again to ShamblerDK for taking the time to submit the above info.
