Advanced Service - Data Recovery/System Restore



Service Details - Data Recovery

Data recovery is subject to conditions. The understanding we try to advise customers of is that data recovery is not always successful due to the condition of the device (HDD) that contains the information that needs to be recovered.
A $20.00 service fee applies if the attempt is unsuccessful to cover time spent.

Service Details - System Restore

Our system restore service restores your computer or laptop back to its original "out of the box" state. When you buy a computer it will normally come with Windows and a handful of other free applications from the manufacturer, performing the system restore service returns the system back to that original state ready for you to start again.

This service can be carried out only with the manufacturers supplied restore cd’s or by using the preinstalled restore partition on your computer.

NOTE: If you do not have the restore cd’s or restore option pre-installed on your computer we can rebuild your system software from scratch. You must supply all software you want installed including a genuine copy of Windows – we won't install pirate copies.

Warning: Performing the system restore service will erase all data on your computer so please backup anything you need to keep first.

Conditions to Advanced services:
  • Customers understand that data recovery is not assured or guaranteed.
  • System Restore customers must confirm the data they would like backed up (we advise customers to copy the data they want kept to a specific folder).
  • Media up to 4GB will be supplied. Additional media can be supplied at cost.
  • Customers must have a working DVD-R drive and associated software in order to perform data backup.
  • If a working DVD-R drive is not available the computer must have a firewire port or USB ports to enable data transfer.
  • Customer take full responsibility for data once verified and supplied.
  • Data Backup/System Restore form must be signed and dated by customer prior to proceeding.
